Delayed ovulation signs after Freeze-all cycle

Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well.

Please can I ask if anyone had delayed ovulation and period after their 1st cycle?

I'm on day 12 of my natural cycle after my first icsi cycle, which had to be freeze all due to overstimulation. Usually I have very clear ovulation signs (discharge, twinges etc) by day 10 and this month nothing. I'm a bit anxious that egg collection might have damaged my ovaries although I know this is probably unlikely. I have been a tad stressed at work, which sometimes delays things too.

Any similar experiences or tactics for getting some reassurance?

Your ovaries are rather enlarged after stimulation therefore it is taking 2-3 months for them go back to normal size. What you are saying is quite normal, don't stress unnecessarily. Egg collections are not damaging the ovaries whatsoever. Give some time to your body to heal. Take care 💕

hi yes I has this too, I normally have a 28 day cycle and my first proper period after egg collection was a 35 day cycle. I think it’s quite common xx

I had a withdrawal bleed 9 days after egg collection but my period didn’t come until 5 and a half weeks after egg collection. I was told it’s normal for your cycle to be disrupted. X

Yes I had exactly the same I didn't get positive ovulation test until day 21 when it normally day 14-16 for me x

Thank you all for sharing your experiences. Today I've had a cracking headache all day and started to see a few signs that things might be starting up again in my natural cycle for ovulation. I was also an emotional wreck yesterday so think my hormones are recalibrating after the icsi cycle. Funny, I didn't get too many hormonal symptoms during stims but they've been all over the place since EC.
