I’m on 3x cyclogest. This morning I went to the toilet 40 mins after taking one and in a panic I took an extra one! I had early bleeding after fresh transfer so just worried.
Was I really stupid taking extra? Will it do any harm! I’m very anxious this cycle!
Any advice appreciated, hope everyone is doing ok, and managing to stay sane on this crazy journey. ♥️

Hey, I think you should be fine. I know how nerve wracking this period is. We had a transfer on Thursday too. Can’t help worrying or googling! Hope the 2ww goes quickly for you 🤞 🍀
It’s such an emotional time, easy done! This happened me. At the time I rang the clinics out of hours doctor and they told me not to worry about it. I then made a list and ticked it off each time I done my medication, it really helped.
Hope this is helpful and best wishes on your journey 😘
After 40mins, whatever was going to be absorbed would be well on its way so you needn't have worried in the first place. Though I completely understand. I rang the nurse just because I stood up too soon I thought!!! [Which, if you need to, rectally is the best option] And 2 are fine. I injected progesterone as well as taking the pessaries so I personally dont think you can have enough of it (reasonably of course 😅). Best of luck xx
Also, I used My therapy pill reminder app throughout IVF and subsequently pregnancy (I was on blood thinners as well as progesterone). Excellent and free little app.
My clinic told me if I had any bleeding I could take an extra lubion injection and that your body will only absorbe the progesterone it needs so there is no harm in taking too much. I was a little parnoid about bleeding so took double what I was meant until my viability scan. Did no harm other than the lumps and bruising on my stomach. So don't worry about taking too much x
hey .. I was also in cyclogest.. I had continuous bleeding on and off 5dpt and was constantly worried. I would take an extra pessary and it would stop.. I’m now 33 weeks pregnant so it did no harm if anything I felt like it helped my frosty stick
