Increased Progesterone 7DP5DT

Hey all,

I am currently 6DP5DT.

I have been reading that quite a few people have used extra progesterone on day 7 after their transfer. Has anyone done this and had positive/negative results?

Hello! Just wanted to wish you all the best for your 2WW, it is such a hard time to get through! I had a modified natural cycle and my clinic did not increase my Progesterone at any point but this may depend on your protocol and type of FET. My clinic only checked my Progesterone levels on transfer day and then the next time after a positive test. I have been on 2x Lubion and 2x 400mg Cyclogest since ovulation +1. All the best to you! x

Thank you so much! It's such a torturous process isn't it.

I'm on a medicated cycle on my 3rd FET. I have PCOS so can never guarantee ovulation.

Im on cyclogest x 2 daily and Progynova x3 daily currently. I have pretty bad cramping today too so hoping its not a bad sign.

Torturous captures it pretty nicely! Thank you so much, all going well so far but the anxiety around losing this baby too is a constant companion. I am trying to take it day by day with varying success! If you're concerned about your progesterone levels, would the clinic be open to test you again? Perhaps if you explain to them about the cramping they might offer another P4 test just for added reassurance? Keeping it all firmly crossed for you that this transfer is being successful for you xx

I'm glad to hear that things are going well. I really hope it continues like that for you. I can only imagine that once the worry of implantation is gone, there is then lots of other worries that take its place.

I'm not sure if they will test again. It's the NHS so unlikely but I can always ask I suppose.

I'm on TWW too. Currently 7 days passed. I did a medicated cycle and i am on Utrogestan 3 times a day and 2mg estrogen. My clinic dint check progesterone on transfer day but just asked me to add one just the transfer day as they had to clean up the area before transfer. Because I had used the progesterone before coming to clinic. Fingers crossed for us. I am not having any symptoms apart fro. Yesterday, was feeling bloated and very tired but today I am alright.

I started testing on 5 days past, just to see when the HCG will start showing. Though I am using an expired one step pregnancy test, nothing for now but let's see what happens.

In my previous transfer, that was successful, I did not test till a day to my test day and it came up positive immediately. But let's see what happens.

I'm currently 7dp5dt too. I have sore boobs and have been getting a lot of cramp but think that will be the medication.

Yea, just testing out as I have seen people getting their positives very early here and I thought to myself let me try since I have expired one step HGC at home just to see when it will come up. An experiment though but it's an expired one. And sin e I had a double transfer just want to also see if the hcg will show up early if it implants. Thank you xx

Yea, I'm doing everyday. Lets see what happens. It's just a waiting game. Still negative today at 5 am. I am using expired OPK, expired one step HCG and in date midstream pregnancy test. I just have to continue testing since I already started.

I have ordered first response which I will use 2moro or next as my OTD is Monday. Transfered 2 on the 18th.

I also did digital clear blue on the 6dp still negative. Though its expired.

I'm feeling bloated and this happens to me if my period is coming. My period is supposed to be I normally 2moro. I'm always regular but becos of the pessaries it might stop it.

Whatever will keep you updated.

Awww I really hope you get your positive and it’s not your period. I hope your result changes ❤️I still haven’t tested as I couldn’t bear getting another negative result. Just trying to keep myself busy.

I’ve been relatively ok. Trying not to over think any symptoms and convincing myself it’s going to be negative just like last time so I’m not as disappointed, if that makes sense x

Thank you. I am trying to be positive amidst all this, what will be will be. You are doing well to wait. I did exactly same thing in my first transfer. Tested a day to OTD and got a strong positive straight away. Just decided to experiment this transfer by testing early.

Be hopeful as I know we will dance at last. Positive awaits us.

I’m trying to stay hopeful and I know we will get our little rainbows eventually whether it’s this time or next. I just really hope it’s this time for us both.

My OTD is the 31st so not long to go but feels like forever away lol x

Fingers crossed for us. Even though I still have negative this morning, I'm still hopeful. Will test with first response tomorrow since my OTD is on the 29th. It will be the news we crave for by God's grace. Stay strong. x
