period after prostap

does anyone know when your period will return after prostap injection please?

I had prostap instead of Buserelin this time due to the shortage and will need to have two periods before starting again, just want to know what time scales I am likely looking at….

They say prostrap last in your system for 28 days but for me it depends if you have then had the meds for a transfer cycle or not in my experience when period restarts. If you have my period came pretty much after I stopped the meds after BFN and when it was meant to. But another time I had prostrap and didn’t make it to transfer and 3 months after still no bleed so I had to go in and get some tablets form the clink c to kick start things again so it might depend on your circumstances 🤗 hope it comes soon xx

thank you so much for your message, I have spoken to the clinic and they have said it should be here within the week but to call them next week if it isn’t. I didn’t make it to transfer as it didn’t fertilise so it’s interesting what you have said and what they have said!

Would just rather it came so we can move on! 🤞🏻

ah that’s good then I think it was more about the meds after prostrap that I didn’t get because I didn’t go ahead with the cycle at all (found CIN 3 cells at smear) so I basically had the prostrap had a bleed then nothing for months and months but in all other times I’ve had prostrap it’s been about a week to 10 days for the bleed so it’s more than likely that me what will happen for you xx
