Prostap Day 21

Hi All! Hopefully starting my first round of IVF NHS treatment in the next couple of months. I was prescribed prostap until then, to keep my endometriosis from regrowing after the excision surgery I had in December. Just a question around Prostap. I had my first injection 6 days ago.... when should i be starting to bleed? In the next few days? When I go to have my 2nd injection in 4 weeks time, will I bleed again or not? Not really sure! Thanks

Hi. You will probably bleed within a week. The second injectionwill be about a month, the same. Obviously your clinic will guide you. Good luck. Diane

I didn’t bleed at all when I done my prostap x

Oh thats interesting! I thought that would maybe be the case if I got a 2nd prostap injection in 4 weeks.

Yeah that’s the whole point of the injection.. temporarily puts you into the menopause. My lining went down to 2.6mm so no bleed!
