Help with my final cycle

I have had 5 failed transfers in the past year with 7 good grades untested embryos… had ERA Alice. Emma. 2 hysteroscopy even a endo rejuvenation and another ERA and my last 2 embryos failed to stick last month. Been a tough 1.5 year. I have complained to my clinic over my poor experience over multiple issues plus I believe it was only my last transfer was done at the correct time plus they tested me for any immune issues and had me on prednisone. they have agreed another cycle free as I have nothing left in the freezer. My AMH was good 2 years ago with egg collection but god knows what it’s like now, I am being tested next week, I have just turned 42. What would you suggest to take to help egg quality, I have read C0Q10 helps, plus I’m on folic, vit D, pomegranate capsules, need to give this last chance the best shot. Thanks I’m advance x

Sorry to hear about your failed transfers, they are so tough.

Ubiquinol is meant to be very good. The book It Starts with the Egg gives lots of information on supplements, as well as other lifestyle tips. Take it with a pinch of salt though, as it can be quite full on and you don't want to add more stress. I just flicked through and took on the bits I knew I could do. Good luck! X

Thanks for your reply. I agree I don’t want to become obsessed by changing my whole lifestyle as it’s not bad atm but I have just bought the ubinquinol so hopefully itl help cx

Hi I’m so sorry you are going through this. We have had 4 transfers and still no baby 😢 would you consider having the embryos tested for chromosome abnormalities. We did this and they were all abnormal it saved us a lot of time money and heart ache as we would have kept transferring them. Hope you are ok xxx

Aww I’m so sorry for your journey, it’s so hard. I will do a new cycle and they have said they want to test, I’m torn though as there’s conflicting studies on it, but it’s also really tough going through failed attempts. I’d be terrified of doing a cycle and them all being destroyed if they come back abnormal xx
