I have just done 2nd FET with this, but also the patches too, we then started Progesterone pesseries and injections. The Estradiol helps thicken the lining of your womb and the Progesterone makes it sticky xx
Ah ok thank you. Doctor not mentioned me about injections yet. Iv took estradiol everyday 3 times a day. I went for my first scan yesterday and everything fine but she said my uterus lining really thick like too thick. So she said stop taking estradiol tablet and let bleed come so then I have to go back and check scan again when bleed start so then when it ready or so then embryos transfer soon.
Hi, sorry to hear about your early miscarriage. Yes I've taken estrogen tablets from the second day after my cycle prior to frozen embryo transfer. I was on 6mg a day (2mg 3 times a day).
None of my 4 fresh transfers worked. My first frozen embryo transfer worked. I then took progesterone pessaries a few days before my frozen embryo transfer date.
Ah really thank you so much that really helpful. So did you carry on taking estrodail after embryos transfer frozen egg. And yes pessaries which Iv done this before pessaries
What best fruits and foods to eat after embryo transfer frozen egg? Xx
Go for Mediterranean diet which has research suggesting it's the best fertility diet - fish, healthy fats, wholegrains etc. Cut out sugar, caffeine and alcohol (I don't drink because of religious reasons).
Make sure you walk min 20-30 mins and keep warm because that means your uterus is not cold.
You can eat other food that isn't wholegrains, just make sure you get plenty of water, veg and protein. Don't worry too much about fruits although there is no harm eating them, just be mindful of the sugar content.
Thank you for your help hun 👍. Also how long is frozen egg embryos 2 weeks wait? And when they check uterus lining did they tell you when to start embryos transfer I mean like does it has to be in a few days or in a week? When it ready for embryo transfer x
Had my transfer after 14 days from taking estrogen tablets (day 3 double embryo transfer). First scan before period they tell about your lining then you contact your clinic when start period. What do you mean how long is the two week wait? You can test early after 7 days post transfer because you would not have had a trigger injection.
Everyone's cycle and lining is different, remember this. Plus mine was not a day 5 frozen embryo transfer.
Make sense. They told me when my period start from day 1 start taking tablet estrodial and they booked me appointment for my first scan that was last week Iv finished period like 5/6 days as usual. They checked my scan and said everything fine but my uterus lining was too thick like she said it doesn’t really need too thick. So she said stop taking tablet and let bleed come and contact them Stright away when bleed start so then they gonna check scan again to see uterus lining and then see what happen next for embryos transfer when it ready or so..
What you said that make sense now and yes definitely true everyone cycle and lining different. I hope everything will goes well hopefully 🙏🏻
I got told when embryos tranfer is done like after embryo- eat pineapple, pomegranate juice and walnuts, Brazil nuts little by little everyday would that help? also like you said foods aswel x
Yes nuts are good because they contain healthy fats. I'm unsure how true pineapple core is, I personally did try pineapple in my fresh transfers which were unsuccessful. For my frozen transfer I did not eat any pineapple. But its up to you.
yes definitely nuts very helpful and does work. Yeah I wasn’t too sure about pineapple core.. yeah I would prefer nuts that all. For my first fresh transfer I didn’t eat pineapple at all I had nuts only and does help when I fall pregnant. So I do the same again with frozen transfer hopefully should successful🤞🏻
I think nearly every medicated Frozen transfer has estrogen in some form and most commonly tablets. It can have some side effects (I get headaches) but it is a hormone we normally have in our bodies too. The stats show a very slightly better pregnancy rate for frozen transfers vs fresh at the moment but the success rates are roughly about the same. The embryo itself won’t change quality because it was transferred fresh or frozen though that is what it is but the good thing with frozen transfers is that your body has had a rest and hasn’t just undergone egg collection. It is also a good sign that an embryo is good enough to be frozen in the first place in terms of the quality of it. Also a positive sign that your first attempt did implant (although i’m so so sorry you miscarried 😥) hoping this next embryo is your lucky one xx
