Positive tests and now a negative

Hi all ,

I have done a few tests which have been positive or the past 12 days . Some with darker lines and some very feint.

The wait is killing me for our first scan and have tested today and it’s saying negative ?

We had 2 embryos transferred on 18/11 , any advice much appreciated

I am waiting for my first scan too and I keep thinking ways to check that everything is ok.... but I will have to wait 3 weeks😫😫

If I were in your situation, first you are getting a positive result and now negative....I will be contacting the clinic. They might do other test or ask you to ho earlier.

Cross fingers all goes well🤞

Hi! You should definitely do a Hcg blood test to be sure. That's the way you be sure everything it's ok! I pray for your miracle to be fine!

I don’t think my clinic normally do the blood tests they just tell you to test from home but I’ll give them a call and see what they say

Hi lovely, be careful of testing too far out from your BFP. I just checked as I done the same and it sent my head into a spin as I had such strong lines on OTD. I tested around 10 days after my 2ww testing day and the first line was lighter than normal and the second was darker. This can be caused by the hook affect and can happen when your HCG is high the test get confused, After reading about the hook affect I added tap water to the urine ( I think I done 50/50) and the test showed the first line as darker so once I had that confirmation I didn’t test again. Pregnancy and baby was fine xxx

I have done another test since and diluted it but still a negative I’m afraid .

I’ll ring my clinic tomorrow and see what they say

Is don’t have insights but just wanted to say that I am crossing fingers for you. This sounds really stressful -and I am sorry you have to deal with this.

I have never heard of anything like this. I am also waiting for my viability scan which is a week today and have been testing every few days just for reassurance. I will now stop testing immediately.

I can’t get my head around it …. All my other tests ( about 12 in total ) are all positive , it’s just today it’s changed .

I have contacted the clinic and they have advised just to retest tomorrow and if it’s another negative to stop all meds and a bleed should come xx
