I started heavy bleeding (enough to go into the loo when i went and needed pads) and painful cramps at 7dp5dt. I thought I was out so didnt test but then 8dpt the bleeding slowed up to spotting so i tested 9dpt and was blazing positive (hcg a day later was 900) so if i had tested whilst bleeding it would have been positive. No idea what caused the bleed but it worked out fine for me now 27 weeks. I'm sorry you're going through this uncertainty the only thing that helped me was doing hcg blood tests which i did privately through medichecks.com
oh wow, so you are actually telling me where is a chance for this little Bean to survive? It's so bizarre to be honest. And the line is definitively getting stronger.
it started like that for me; 4 days past FET, i saw pink discharge and took a test. Faint positive. i thought it was implantation. Then i started cramping a lot and by evening i would have quite a lot of blood when wiping. 5 days past FET woke up heavy bleed (going to the loo), all day. This morning as well 6 days past. Now 5 hours later i find the flow is less heavy.
The clinic had no idea what it was that caused it they just said it could be implantation. I had a scan at 6 weeks and couldn’t see any reason for the bleed. I never had any further bleeding after that. Have you spoken to clinic at all? I had done a progesterone blood test to make sure my progesterone was high enough on transfer day so I knew that wasn’t the issue but could be worth checking that if you’re worried?
I did see my doctor yesterday. He couldn't tell me the cause, maybe miscarriage, maybe etopic. He said it was very early in my cycle to bleed. At day 22. Then he gave me a prescription to test HCG levels today, and Monday. After that i think he will ask me to come for next steps. I didn't take a hormone test around transfer. My lining was at 9 millimeter, and i was then prescribed 600 mg pessaries daily of progesterone. No Estrogen. I took these pessaries before and they never seemed to give me any irritation. But who knows, it may be. I will do a hormone check on Monday with my other blood test. I already categorized it as an early miscarriage, but rather strange that the line seems to get stronger. i will try to attach pictures below .
Hi Sancor. You will have to see what your blood test comes back as. Could even be down to some infection or cervical irritation caused by progesterone if you have bee prescribed it. Fingers crossed it is just one of those unexplainable events. Diane
I have stage 4 endo and I bled when in early pregnancy. It was almost like a full blown period. I was so worried but my little boy was fine and is now 7 months old. Stay positive.
I have issue with polyps which cause me to bleed randomly all the time. So the source of you bleeding could be something other than lining. Hang in there!
Thanks for giving me hope ☺️ We will see how the blood tests progress over the next couple of days. Are polyps easy to see on ultrasound? i have never been told about having polyps. However, i was also never told my tubes were blocked, because they only seemed to check the ovaries- It was first when we had troubles conceive they noticed.
I don't think they are super easy see. They didn't see my polyps the first time I came to the clinic. I was supposed to do FET two weeks ago but they noticed something in my lining on the ultrasound. They needed to use the 3D ultrasound to confirm it was polyps. I had to have surgery to remove them. They also found and removed polyps near my cervix during my egg retrieval surgery last year.
Hi Sancor I think bleeding with a FET cycle is quite common. I had a heavy bleed at 5 and a half weeks pregnant and thought I was miscarrying. Turned out I had a haematoma and I think this was caused by implantation bleeding. I am now 17 weeks pregnant. Maybe speak to your clinic? I got put on a higher dose of progesterone until I was 12 weeks. Really hope it’s a positive story for you too. Take it easy, I did bed rest for a week (my own choice) xx
