2 full rounds of IVF, First round got 1 embyro, second got 3 (so we've tried 3 embryos overall and have 1 left). Last embryo and last on NHS left to go. Had both fallopian tubes removed at start of round 1, also discovered AMH is lowish (6.3 pmol/l). Just discovered I have Hashimotos (an autoimmune disease) which could be reason implantation has been unsuccessful so the clinic are going to add Steroids, Heperin, Calcium and Asperin to my treatment plan to counteract the autoimmune disease hopefully! Last FET on NHS will be January 2022, fingers crossed! Any advice would be gratefully received
Hello all!: 2 full rounds of IVF... - Fertility Network UK
Hello all!
Hi Vicstarbubble. Well you certainly are throwing everything into the pot to hopefully get a positive. let's hope your last FET is the waiting to implant. Hope the Hashimotos is kept under control. Good luck! Diane
Hi.
I also have Hashimoto's. Make sure TSH is under 2 before next transfer and get it checked ASAP if you get a positive test. I wasn't on steroids but did have aspirin and clexane for both of my cycles. 2nd cycle has worked so far and really hope you are successful with your next transfer.
I also joined the Thyroid UK forum. Lots of good advice on there about optimising vitamin levels with thyroid disease. I also gave up gluten ( but not dairy ). Not sure how long you have before you next transfer but worth thinking about.
Best of luck x
