Should I continue with fyremadal if period has started? (Frozen ivf cycle)

I had my egg retrieval 5 days ago and was given 7 days of fyremadal to take afterwards. However my period is already here! (any process speeding up feels great at the moment) I’m hoping to do my embryo transfer this month so now my period is here does anyone know if I am to continue with the nightly fyremadal injections?

Thanks in advance ☀️

Hi Sunshine. I would have thought it was to prevent you ovulating prior to egg collection. I would give your clinic a ring to clarify why you are to take it. Good luck! Diane

Hi sunshine, they often give fyremadel after a fresh cycle to help with OHSS. For a frozen cycle my clinic always starts me on 6 days of fyremadel from day one of my cycle to make sure the ovaries are quiet and not producing. So I would carry on but give them a call to check xx
