Just wanted to wish you good luck 🍀
Thank you Hidden xx
Hi Dreams1982. Just wanted to wish you well with your treatment cycle. If the injections get sore, try putting an ice cube on the "spot" and let it melt before injecting. Good luck! Diane
Thank you Diane x any tips for food etc read all different things x
Hi Dreams1982. You asked so here we go! A good diet to have at this time consists of variety, however, I have listed some of the “good” things to have: Carbohydrates - Wholegrain bread and wholemeal pasta, oatmeal, brown rice. All fresh vegetables especially raw or steamed. Over boiling rids them of vitamins and minerals, pineapple juice, apricots, potatoes, all fruit and honey, beans, chickpeas and lentils. Protein - Organic meat if possible, poultry, fish, Milk and hard cheese, nuts and seeds. Fat - Extra virgin olive oil and sunflower oil, avocado and peanut butter, mackerel, sardines, nuts (especially Brazil and walnuts), seeds, sweet corn and sweet potatoes. The things to avoid are too much sugar, processed foods, ready meals, butter, ice cream etc. A little is OK, but not all the time. Drink plenty of water and only a little tea and coffee if feeling deprived. Cut right down or right out – alcohol and smoking. Oh and don’t forget the Folic Acid! Hope this helps and all the best with the IVF. Diane
Hello! Injections are daunting but really not as bad as I thought they'd be. I did a practice at my injection tutorial and barely felt it and that really helped. Just make sure you inject with the little needles! And try not to seal your sharps bin after only two days. And use the rubber things for breaking the tops off the solution vials, not your fingers. As you can tell, my first few goes were a triumph!! Good luck xx
Am sure you will be fine. Was equally nervous on my day one of injection but it went fairly well. Am on my day 8.
I'm on day 6 short protocol and so far so good! Injections are fine, I was nervous but it was all for nothing! Good luck! Keep drinking lots of water x
Done the first jabs not too bad x glad hubby was here to do it for me though lol xx
