Can someone advise me if IVF can start on day 3 of period as my period came today ( around 2 p.m) , 2days earlier due to hot weather and i absolutely didnt expected this. Problem is we just paid £170 PCR, we paid hotel in cyprus to quarantine and paid tickets.
Shall we fly ASAP tomorrow change tickets or how successful IVf will be if start on my last day of period D3?
You should call your clinic I think they are in better position to answer your questions. On the other hand my clinic always book first scan on day 2 or 3 of your period last month I was scan on day 5 which was too late and they cancel that cycle
Middle of night they may release PCR TEAT RESULTS. Won’t be sleeping. If we have it we better pay but more for ticket and fly. I don’t trust assistant who said she could not reach the doctor as it is a holiday in Cyprus. And she said - oh it’s fine we can start day 3. They will collect money from anyway.
If you can go before day 3 better if not day 3 is till ok I no this because my doctor always say day 2 or 3 good luck
Starting on D3 is absolutely fine. I started my last cycle on day 3 and it was successful. Don't worry it will be OK. Wish you all the best
Yes this is fine- I started day 3 on my first ivf cycle as I was unwell with a fever and wanted to delay. They were fine with me waiting. It actually could even have been day 4 thinking about it. It was a very good round for me so didn’t impact anything don’t stress! X
Waiting still PCR and willing to change flights . We paid already for change. Now I can see how much this covid affect normality’s. If no need for pcr people can do everything much faster and atraifhforward
