First natural FET

Hey everyone, I am so excited and positive about 2021. Happy new year!

I am on a natural FET this cycle, this is my first one. I've had 1 fresh (failed), 1 medicated FET (miscarriage) and 2 further medicated FET that failed. So I took a break from it all last year, stopped working due to coronavirus and decided to take the opportunity to completely unwind and give my body and mind a break. During this time I have gone on an ayurvedic diet, taken herbs, got into yoga and meditation, got into a really good sleep pattern.

Also wanted to try naturally over this time with temping and OPKs, this has allowed me to understand my cycle. I also got my progesterone levels checked along with thyroid, vit d and b12. I know much more about my body and cycle and that I ovulate every month.

I'm now on day 2 of my cycle and am booked in for a scan on day 11. I am really positive about this approach as I know my cycle and am very used to tracking ovulation etc. Is there any advice about diet/lifestyle that I can implement in the lead up to a natural FET? I am a bit nervous about my lining. I don't know what it will be like without meds. With meds it's been perfect every time. The one thing I am going to push for is baby aspirin, I just have a feeling that maybe blood clots could be interfering with the process. Is there an obvious test my clinic should be doing? Has anyone tried taking baby aspirin without having the tests? I really want to cover all bases!

Would love any advice xxxxx

Morning Masief. I had a natural FET last year and like you was worried about my lining. My consultant explained as it was a natural transfer my body will have done the work. Sure enough, my lining was great and the transfer went ahead. I took Cyclogest after the transfer because I pushed for it, wanted to feel I was doing all I could to help. But the consultants all explained it wouldn't do any harm but wasnt needed. They said if they trusted my body for a natural transfer it'll do what it needs to. Hope this info helps and reassures you 🤞 for you

Thanks Sw1234! My clinic also wants me to keep taking cyclogest before transfer. I'm happy to do that, already feeling very relaxed about this approach. I'm hoping lining will be good, this round will teach me something new about my body x

Good Morning,I did my first "natural" transfer on the 15th December and I too was very nervous about the lack of support. All I was on was baby aspirin and progesterone pesseries. I found it difficult to trust my body would do the work on its own. I did guided meditations on YouTube everyday. Im very happy to say it worked!! Im pregnant after a very long journey. Its very early and I still pray everyday that my body Will continue to do a good job and carry my baby/babies successfully to full term. I wish you all the luck in the world. Trust your body. 💕💕💕💕

Wow Kevsmom, congratulations that is so exciting. Thanks for the encouragement and I pray your bean sticks. I feel really good about going natural just a bit nervous as without stabilisers of the meds. Our bodies are the best machinery with producing hormones etc. I've learned that whilst tracking my cycles, i need to trust in my body. Sending you lots of baby dust xxx
