Congratulations, sounds like its all going well. I'm afraid I cant give you advice on how long after your scan seems normal for a transfer, I've only ever done medicated FETs. But I guess if your lining is thickening nicely you would have roughly 2 weeks after your LH before it starts breaking down, so I would assume its ok within that window.
Just out of interest, why have you chosen to do a natural FET? I'm weighing up my future options and this is something I have been thinking about xx
I felt like my body was pumped with too many medications & all results were normal & we got pregnant twice naturally. I also thought they might monitor my body closer which worked today- haemorrhagic cyst. Transfer cancelled.
Firstly - aspirin??? What’s the thought behind that? Aspirin in a NSAID and is avoided in pregnancy as it can cause miscarriage. Maybe this is normal I’ve Judy never heard of it. Also I was told to take folate (naturally occurring folic acid) rather than folic acid chemically because some women reject it. So might be worth a switch.
Onto the timing- Yeah that seems about right. Because if you’re doing it naturally modified you’re also growing a follicle for ovulation. You’ll have a scan, trigger ovulation then that adds about 2 days to ovulation then you need to add the days the embryo is old so in my case was 5 so 7 days sounds about right
I’ve done a natural FET before. No trigger either.I did the transfer with a blastocyst 5 days after I ovulated but your lining could still be receptive at 7 days past. Have u asked the clinic ?
I’ve always had natural FETs and transfer has taken place 6 days post my LH surge, this time round I think I had my surge the day before I started testing because I didn’t get the high as I usually did I just got the peak so perhaps may have even be 7 days! All is fine and currently 10.5 weeks pregnant!I’m also taking aspirin it’s to help blood flow in the uterus great for implantation so don’t worry about that at all if they have advised it then I’d take it. Also it’s often used in pregnancy now if you have a pre-eclampsia risk so safe! Good luck x
Thank you for your responses- it was scheduled 6 days after like u said but they found a haemorrhagic cyst today so transfer cancelled. Waiting for it to go down x
