My bleeding stopped at CD19. A follow up call with my gynae team said it was not uncommon for a longer cycle following a hysteroscopy.

Hi ladies, I hope you are all safe and well. I had a laparoscopy + hysteroscopy on 14th Nov in prep for a FET earlier next year. I have endo, so the clinic want me downreg on GnRH (Prostap) for 2-3months. I had my first Prostap on 16th Nov (2days after lap) but it was on cycle day 21 of my menstrual cycle.
I wouldn’t have expected the Prostap to shut my ovaries down that quickly so I completely expected to have a bleed. Which I did but I’ve continued to bleed (today is cycle day 13). It’s not heavy but it’s definitely not spotting (ie I need to wear a pad), the blood is red, no clots, no foul smell and completely pain free.
My fertility clinic are a bit concerned 😕 and that’s in turn made me feel a bit worried now. This was the first time I’ve had a hysteroscopy so I don’t know if my lining has just been irritated so that’s why it’s a longer bleed? This is also the first time I’ve taken Prostap (I was on zoladex previously) - so not sure if it’s related to that 🤷🏽♀️
Anyone else experienced prolonged periods following a hysteroscopy??
I’ve got in touch with the gynae team that performed the lap/hysteroscopy - hopefully I’ll hear something soon.
Thanks in advance. Sending lots of love to anyone struggling atm xxx
