So I’ve just done my first ICSI cycle. We had 16 follicles... 11 mature... 5 fertilised...unfortunately only one made it to high quality blastocyst of 4bb
Due to suffering with OHSS The decision was made to freeze this little embaby.
I’m so confused by the grading of numbers/letters! Any information would be fab!
We had 2 embryos at 4cc & 5cc so these were what the clinic called poor quality and couldn’t be frozen.
Has anyone gone onto a have a successful pregnancy with a frozen 4bb. I’ve struggled with OHSS quite badly and I know it doesn’t always work and it only takes one but I’m worried about going through ICSI process again and be as poorly as I was. Of course if I needed to 100% would to be able to have my baby at the end of all of this I was just hoping for some positive stories
Lotsa baby loves 💫🤍

We have very similar stories! I am on my first round of an ICSI cycle too. 14 eggs, 5 fertilised and 2 made it to blastocyst (just got the call this morning)
I couldn’t have a fresh transfer either as the lining of my womb wasn’t thick enough so they didn’t want to risk it. Blastocysts are being frozen today and I will have a FET in a few weeks. Just waiting for my period now - are you doing the same?
Yeah I’ve just had my period and they wouldn’t transfer due to the ovarian hyper stimulation so they would transfer on my next cycle, however the clinic closes for a few days over Christmas and chances are my transfer would fall around then!! So it will most likely be my January period we start from 🤞🏻 fingers crossed!
Hope your transfer goes well, I’ve got everything crossed for you 🥰xx
Unfortunately I don't have a success story to share yet, but just wanted to say my understanding is that a 4bb blastocyst is a good quality embryo with every chance of success.
