Which supplements to stop / take help

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I’m between egg collection and egg transfer and I’m confused as to what I should keep taking / stop / start taking? Any help would be appreciated.

My transfer is this Monday so I’m just wondering what I need to stop. I’m currently taking:

Ubiquinol 400

Prenatal multi vitamin

D3

Zinc

Vitamin c

Omega 3 / 6 / 9

I’m pretty sure to stop the Omega 3/6/9 and possibly the ubiquinol, is there any else to stop / start taking?

Thank you xx

Thanks for posting this...I was wondering the exact same thing!

Hey, I did a load of research on this recently. I concluded (although only via my googling!) I should defo stop ubiqionol and you need to be careful with additional vitamin C and zinc if you are on prenatal as they tend to have the recommended amount in there.

I dont know about Omega 3/6/9 but I have started taking Fish Oil with DHA & EPA which is supposed to be very good and has Omega 3 in it as well. I have also continued to take an additional 10ui of Vit D over and above my pregnancy vitamin. I also swapped Pregnacare conception to pregnacare pregnancy

So in summary I am left on: pregnancy vitamin, extra vitamin D and 1200 mg of fish oil tablets (with DHA, EPA and Omega 3) - but I think you can take too much vit D

Hope that helps!! xx

Ah thank you for the replies! I thought I would have to stop the Omega 3 (maybe I’m getting confused with vitamin E!). I was reading some women continue Ubiquinol for lining but I’ve read counter claims to that also, don’t want to do anything silly to compromise results!

Thank you for the info, gearing up for the 2ww psychosis! 😂🌺 xx

I am at Auckland Newzealand and elevit is the only multivitamin recommended by doctors for women who are trying for preg or they are pregnant or even if they give birth baby as the vitamins and minerals help all the along

I personally continued Ubiquinol as i read it helps prevent miscarriages...but a lot of ppl stop this as not much evidence ...i continued the Prenatal multi vitamin and I would continue omega as that is good for brain and heart development...vit d3 if you were pregnant only 10mcg needed which is in prenatal so prob can stop this...zinc and vit c prob in prenatal too...however as vit c water soluble any excess would be excreted in urine...If you have 'It starts with the Egg' by Rebecca Fett it explains about supplements...starting and stopping...Good Luck xx

Thank you for replying, I’ve heard a lot about ‘It starts with an egg’ on this forum, so will give it a read. It’s a minefield of what to do / not to do that you just want to get it right!! Thanks for your message 🥰 xx
