FET consultation review after failed fresh transfer

Hi everyone my consultation review was today for my first FET after July's failed fresh cycle. we have 2 frozen embryos

looks like I'm doing a long protocol ( I THINK? seems like it)

He suggested down regulation

cycle 21 daily injection to shut down ovaries,to have full control of cycle.

he said for a couple of weeks

oestrogen tablets for about 10 days

pessary tablets for 5 days (because embryo is 5 days old)

embryo transfer is the day after

he said I can push and try to get the meds this month ( 17th of September is cycle day 21)

I don't have the protocol yet though...

but he suggested to give my ovaries more time to heal and me to hold off until next cycle (15th of October is cycle day 21)

I don't know what to do I kind of want to push and start asap this month because I don't want there to be another lockdown

but I also want to do what he recommends and wait a bit more.

what would you do!? and what injections do you think I will be on? I'm so impatient.

Im in the middle of that protocol right now for my frozen transfer. I have been taking buseralin Injections daily since day 21 (they are like the trigger injection you would have taken pre egg collection. ) Now on day 7 of the oestrogen tablets. Hard advice to give as I know I would want to do it straight away, but I think if doc recommends a week off may be worth waiting especially as i think thier are studies to show it helps..(i can remember reading this somewhere). did they collect many eggs? Its quite hormone intensive so may be nice for you to have a month off too.

thank you sooo much for replying I've been so confused and lost at the moment

yeah they collected 15 eggs 13 mature 10 fertilised 1 transferred and 2 were suitable to freeze.

My OTD was August 3rd but started my period 9dp5dt (July 20th was transfer day)

so I've had all of August to recover already.

I guess waiting 35 more days will probably be best.
