FET Transfer after failed fresh

Does anyone know how long you can leave it after a failed fresh transfer before you can do a FET? I have lost all hope now after BFN on days 7 and 8 after a 5 day transfer. OTD on Friday.

Think it spends on your clinic, after our failed cycle I had a bleed and then I called to start after my next period x

That's a shame, hopefully you don't have to wait too long x

Don’t lose hope, I tested early got two BFNs, had no symptoms and then got BFP on test day.

Failing that, after our first round they said we could do the Natural FET as soon as we wanted to after our first round failure, because there were no drugs involved, it was entirely up to us and that was on NHs, we just had to organise an appointment with our doctor to get that round going. Good luck xxx

Thanks so much for that. I really do think this round has failed. I just want to get started on the next round as soon as I can and don’t want to be waiting around x

Did you have to have a bleed before you started again? X

i think they felt more comfortable doing it knowing i had had a normal period, but given timings etc, it happened anyway before we got round to going again, as we had a holiday booked and to be honest i needed a break before we cracked on again. Our first FET was successful, and i do think its because your body is under so much less stress i feel like my uterus was battered to pieces in the first fresh round, so nothing had a chance for sticking. We then had two months in between, and i think i had healed up properly and was ready for it so the natural FET had a much better chance of working, so maybe try not to stress too much over getting it done quickly. We had to wait 2.5 years to get going, so i know about being impatient to start and to get it done. Good luck xxx

Hi! Firstly, you do still have hope, as you've tested earlier than expected. Then bfn might be due to the home cheapies quality. Secondly, my RE recommends one complete natural cycle after a failed fresh ivf. I truly believe FET is more sucessful as ur body is put through less. Less procudures.Less medication etc.On average this might be 2 months after failed fresh.Keep my fingers crossed for you.

I’ve not started my second cycle, takes about a couple of months for body to come back to normal x plus I don’t want to rush as I will be paying x

I had the bleed after the failed cycle then a ‘ normal bleed’ and went in for a scan on day three of this so it worked out I only had 3 weeks between each cycle! I had a failed fresh but have had a successful frozen and it’s very early days but I am currently 4 weeks pregnant! I have everything crossed for you cx

Was you ok only leaving it 3 weeks in between? Good luck to you and congrats xx

I felt a little overwhelmed at first when they said to come in for a scan and that I was ready to start but as it was a frozen cycle so Nasty injections - I just thought let’s go for it! The estrogen tabs made me a bit mental at first but the progesterone balanced it out. Only think I had and still have is bad cramps and bloating but I know it’s the progesterone! Couldn’t believe we had a bfp on Monday - I’ve read so many posts on here and never thought I would get mine ... but here I am ! Best of luck to you xxxxx
