Diarrhoea post Embryo Transfer

Sorry to be so detailed but had my embryo transfer yesterday afternoon. This morning I've woken up with a bad belly and waves of sickness. Is this normal?

I wouldn’t worry about it (easier said than done). Your body has been through a lot. Your embryos is well protected in your uterus too so it is away from harm. Xx

I know it's stupid but was worried I had done Harm! I know I just got to chill!!! Feeling better this afternoon now

Hi Daxie24,

I’m on day 6 of my 2ww since my embryo transfer.

I have had this from day one too sadly. And it’s still like this. I’m not sure why but this happened to me during my last ivf cycle too x

It's horrible isn't it! I felt so rough this morning! Feeling better now though. Fingers crossed for us both xx

It really is terrible! But honestly at the end I pray it will all be worth it for us all ❤️ x

I am 6dp5dt and i have been having on and off diarrhoea... are you on progesterone? i think is all the side effects of that, would worry about it... i know its easier said than done...our bodies are just trying to cope with everything... xx

I'm glad I'm not alone. Yes I'm on progesterone but thought it made you constipated. I rang the clinic and they too think it's just the progesterone. Fingers crossed for you too xxx
