Embryo Transfer

I had a 4AA embryo transfer this morning from a medicated frozen round, as I had to have a freeze all due to OHSS.

I have been given no “do’s or don’t” post transfer from my hospital, any advice that you have been given?

Hi. There’s not a lot of advice that the clinics gives apart from eating healthy, keep hydrated ,avoid heavy lifting and take it easy x

I agree with sanni12, my friend also told me to keep my feet warm, No idea if it helps.

My embryologist told me to go for a daily walk for 30-45 minutes a day to keep blood flowing to the uterus, no lifting, pulling, no hot water bottles, no lap tops on lap and no hot baths, shallow baths in cool water are okay xx

My clinic gave a list of Do's and don'ts and said not much you can do from here so to do whatever feels right for you but said

No heavy lifting, aerobics, jogging or hot baths

Can do gentle exercise including intercourse.

I heard some clinics say no intercourse so we cut it out on this round I cut out baths and stuck to warm showers, I also made sure I laughed a lot (heard this can help implantation) watched a couple on FB pranking each other ,it was so hilarious. I got a bfp 10dt 5dfet my OTD is tomorrow and today I got a darker line so still early days but it's a positive lol. These things might not have helped and it could just be but in a time of struggle I will go with these did help. Good luck in your tww xx

My clinic said: Not too hot. Not too cold. No sex. No alcohol. And no smoking not even second hand smoke. Only paracetamol for pain. GOOD LUCK x
