hi everyone

This is my first time posting in this group.

I had my first embryo transfer on Monday, I’ve felt relatively ok with the odd little twinge and cramp. I’ve not had any bleeding. My boobs are SO SORE. Today is the first day I would say my stomach has felt ‘normal’ since starting injections on the 17th December. Should I worried that this is a sign sign? Anyone relate?

Mind goes overdrive with everything 😭

My anxiety is horrific as our other egg couldn’t be frozen so there’s a lot on this little one inside me to work 😢 x

Hello, and welcome! Good luck with the outcome of your transfer. Depending on your medication the sore boobs are likely to be caused by them - progesterone gives me horrendously sore boobs for a few days about a week after I start taking it. Your stomach could be feeling normal just because you are getting used to the meds. At this stage it is so hard to tell what is real and what isn't - so you just need to stay positive and wait 🙂

Thank you 🥹 I’m trying to remain positive but I’m comparing myself to other peoples symptoms and thinking cause I don’t have them all is it a bad sign?! This is by far the most mentally difficult part of it all for sure. Feeling much better today xx

That's definitely not true. Some people get all the symptoms and have a BFN, some have none and get BFP. Let's just hope you are one of the double lucky ones - BFP and no horrible symptoms!! It is mentally so exhausting going through the two week wait and normal to be so anxious. Just do whatever you can to enjoy each day and distract yourself 🙂 I try and tell myself I might only be "pregnant" for these two weeks and to enjoy that feeling. It helps for a while... there is no easy answer though which is why so many of us are on here stressing about every little thing!

Welcome :) and congratulations on your transfer, that’s wonderful that you made it this far. Sorry to hear about your anxiety, it’s rubbish and I feel you. Very difficult to not to symptom spot. I’m on my 5th transfer and I still do it 👀. Do reach out when the anxiety gets overbearing, that’s what we are all here for xxx
