So im supposed to be approximately a week away from my frozen embryo transfer. I went for my scan today at calendar day 13. No triple lining yet and follicle only at 1.3. Lining was at 7mm
My Fet will be in a natural cycle. During the scan the nurse did a 3d scan as my uterus is retroverted and due to bowel she couldn't see it well. She said there is a possible polyp but she is not sure as the uterus was hard to see.
I did a million scans abd no one ever mentiones a polyp. Last scan i did 2 months ago the doctor had told me uterus looked perfect and ready for transfer.i also did an hsg last year all looked good.
Ill get another scan tomorrow. I cant beleive all this us happening during the most important cycle. I feel like crying as it tooke me a year and 3 time visits to czech republic to get to this embryo transfer.
Anyone was told they had a possible polyp that turned out to be nothing?

Hi, not sure if this is helpful to you. I had a questionable polyp on all of my scans prior to starting IVF however it was deemed more likely to be scar tissue from where I had a polyp removed 5 years ago as whatever hey could see was so small. Anyway during my stims, I had a scan and low and behold, in a matter of days there was a very definate polyp. Doctor mentioned perhaps freezing all and getting polyp removed. However after that scan doctor didn't mention it again and said we were all good to go ahead with transfer which we did. When I had embryo transfered, as they were scanning, they could no longer see the polyp so I am a bit confused but can only assume that it was the meds that caused it to swell up a bit and it shrunk as soon as meds stopped. I am in 2ww now with a few days to go until testing.

Sorry to hear things didn't go your way today. I can't begin to understand how you feel as haven't been through a failed treatment but can only imagine it's 100 times worse that failing to conceive naturally after years (that I do know about) . I'm only on 1st round so fairly new to all this. Look after yourself and hopefully it won't be long until you can try again xxx
Hi Lorita. I have been confused with a small fold in the bowel before now, and wondered whether it was a polyp. Hopefully you have nothing to worry about and it’s just down to your womb tilting and pushing on your bowel. Good luck with the transfer, aand of course for success. Diane
I had my scan today. No polyp however my lining was not triple stripe so transfer is cancelled. This is the first time this has ever happened. I have avretroverted uterus and its alwats so difficult to scsn. Had my flights booked for this friday. Im so afraid i will never get the triple stripe
Hi Lorita. Oh dear, try not to get too upset, it happens, but is no reason to believe that it won’t. Try lying on your tummy with a pillow under your hips, to encourage your womb to tilt forward. You should make love this way too, as it has the same effect. Thinking of you. Diane
