Anyone tried Inofolic?

My clinic suggested these...

Although I have regular periods, don't have pcos, naturally high amh with no underlying concerns, they recommended I take these to help improve egg quality. I'm 38 btw.

Anyone tried these or had any success? The website seems good and theyre also available in some pharmacies. I'm already taking folic acid, high strength omega 3 and high strength CQ 10 with vitamin b.

First cycle got 18 eggs (16 mature) but my first FET failed.

Now the dreaded wait for cycle 2.

Can anyone shed any light or success stories using inofolic please?

So basically it contains myo-inositol, folic acid etc. I have PCOS.

I have been taking this from 1 month, can’t say about the results as its too early for me.

I asked my consultant but he was not sure as he was arguing that there are no scientific studies and finally said, try it, no harm 😒

So I thought to give it a go. I have read about it as it helps with egg quality and decreases the chances of miscarriage in the book (It starts with an egg) and many other good things about it.

Thanks for the reply. Im not sure if they told me try it as out 13 fertilised eggs, I ended up with 3?

I don't have pcos, endometriosis or anything.

If your already taking folic acid it is cheaper and safer to just take inositol instead of inofolic which is just a combination under a brand name. You have to mix it with water but it's cheaper. I have been taking it for a month for pcos, advised by my fertility doctor. I dont have periods, I dont know if it is a coincidence but I had my first one this month!! I also take q10 folic acid and omega 3. Ttc for 9months age 28. Good luck

I am on myo-inositol ( not inofolic) and I was prescribed proxeed due to fresh IVF failed.

myo-inositol indeed helps as I have PCOS, it controls sugar level( pregnancy diabetes) and helps ovulate.

Wish you all the best!

God bless

Not sure why I need to take it if I have regular periods, naturally high amh and literally nothing wrong with me. Not sure how it helps improve egg quality?

Thanks for posting this! I started taking my-inositol (I take folic acid separately) 2mths ago. I’m a bit polycystic but not the syndrome and whilst my cycles are regular and I ovulate I do have bad skin and put on weight easily. So I started inositol to help with this. Our 2 cycles of ivf so far have had massive drop off from collection onwards so it’s nice to read that inositol may help with egg quality as that’s also a problem for me I suspect. I’m in the middle of stimms for cycle 3 now so only time will tell!!

Hey, I've been taking it for about 8 months now. It doesn't really taste of anything, so easy to include in a daily routine! I am PCOS and had no ovulation or periods at all. Difficult to say about success as I have also had lots of other treatment (I take Metformin and have tried clomid, leterozole, ovarian drilling plus leterozole), and am currently (cautiously) ovulating although no BFP so far. My consultant said OK to also take conception vitamins with it. No side effects and so what the heck! It's expensive but I would say definitely worth a shot, especially if their publicity is to be believed (or better yet, that study you found!).

I'm expecting to be told this week that IVF is the next step so would love to hear if it helps you.

Good luck, I hope it helps x
