Hey everyone, I had embryo transfer this afternoon and was wondering if I’m still ok to use the cyclogest vaginally or is it best up my bottom tonight?! Sorry for daft question just so nervous I’ll do something wrong x

I don’t know for sure but would assume it’s ok, I have read The progesterone acts on the womb lining and causes it to thicken in preparation for a fertilised egg to implant. implantation takes a few days after transfer so to me it should be fine and actually help. Xx

They are far less messy and I got over my fear of doing it pretty quickly. How are you keeping... I'm trying to keep myself busy working from home but my concentration isn't the same xx

I’m ok thank you, had a bad day yesterday. No it’s so hard to concentrate isn’t it! My gp has signed me off for the whole process which I’m pleased about, as my job is very strenuous and stressful. Is this your first cycle? Xx

I put them up the bottom just in case the first day. Mixed it up after that

Thank you! Think I’m going to do rectally now!

My clinic said you can do both but preferably rectally. I use them rectally and find it ok, not messy, very easy. I bought medical gloves and find it much easier to slide it up my bum 💥 with gloves on, also very clean.

Hi,

You are perfectly fine vaginally for cyclogest after transfer but personally I’ve found far easy and less messy to go on back door so that’s how I went around this pessaries .

Good luck xx

How are you feeling? Is this your first cycle? The things we have to do to have a baby 🤣

First FET cycle. Feeling ok, keep worrying I’ve done something that might affect it like bending over too much to pick something up. I keep forgetting and I only realise after I’ve done it 🙈

Pessaries have been giving me toxic wind 🥴 it’s like a war zone at times🤣 agree ...the things we have to do ..
