Short Flare protocol- just one scan scheduled for 6/7 days after taking gonal f injections-enough???

Hi all As above just one scan with view to collection 4/5 days later. Shouldn't there be more scans? Perhaps sooner to guage my bodys reaction? I have very low amh and on gonal f 350 mg injections. What if i'm over/under reacting and they miss it causing cycle to be a disaster? We paid a lot for this and scared they're not scanning early enough. Is this a normal scan time/amount for short flare protocol?

Hey i thought this aswell!! .. i doubled checked with the clinic and they assured me its the best time to scan and dont need any scans before that... so not much else I can do, just have to trust the experts i suppose. I dont get a scan until day 8 of injections x

Im not feeling too bad now, just impatiently waiting for my period to start after my down regging..hows things with you? xo

I'm okay thanks. Down reg day 3 on northisterone (prob not how u spell it but im sure u know which one i mean) cranky as hell and piled on weight last few months but i'll get there. Starting to consider how i'm gonna feel if this doesnt work or i get terrible egg harvest and doesn't even bare thinking about. Will keep following your journey. yeah those tablets made me super cranky aswell..or else it's reality setting in making us cranky..who knows! It's getting harder not to think about things not working now isn't it. Trying to stay positive. Wishing you all the luck xo

Hey hun yep that sounds about right to me I've been through 2 cycles on gonal f short protocol. They will probably get you to come in 2 to 3 days after your first scan for another scan..,that's what happened to me both times I had 2 scans in total before egg collection. They probably just haven't booked you in for 2nd one yet as they dont know exactly when you will need a second one. But yes think that's when I had my first scan either day 6 or 7 after i started injections. Best of luck for your cycle! 🤞🤞💕 xxx

I'm feeling heaps better thanks! I can eat now and dont feel like I'm gonna barf all day lol. Still slight headaches and now something new...AF like cramps! So weird not full on but pretty moderate at times...I'm just hoping it's normal and that it's just my lining getting thick and juicy 🙃😊 it will be all worth it if it works this time 🙃🤞🙏🤞💕 xxx
