Day 10 scan (short protocol)

Hello lovely people,

I had my day 10 scan today with one leading follicle and 6 potential eggs to collect. Trigger shot tonight and egg collection on Wednesday. We are having PICSI/ICSI and embryoscope.

I will also start prednisolone (for my high NK cells) whilst I’m awaiting a fresh embryo transfer. And a intralipid hopefully on the day of transfer.

Anyone heard of drinking beetroot and ginger juice to help improve implantation?

Fingers crossed I get one good blastocyst (I will be happy with one) as I never get any to freeze.

Anything else anyone can suggest?

Sending baby dust to you all on a lovely sunny day xx

Hi Anonymous. Just hoping that your egg collection has gone well and the fertilisation produces some good embryos. The beetroot juice thing works a bit like pineapple juice to keep blood flowing freely and hopefully prevent clot formation. Good luck! Diane

Hi DianeArnold,

Thank you for asking, they managed to get 11 eggs and 10 were mature. Apart from feeling bloated I'm feeling fine, we’ve eaten out for lunch without my husband looking like he’s drugged me 😂

We used PICSI and the embryologist has said it’s worked as expected.

Fingers crossed 🤞 I’ll find out tomorrow on how they are cooking and book my intralipid. I feel positive this round.

I may try both pineapple and beetroot with ginger 🥤 throw everything at this round xx

Hi. Make sure you drink plently of water as well as the juices. Watch your urune output is clear and plently of it. Any pain take paracetamol. No anti inflammatories such as ibuprofen. Have little walks, and any breathlessness get seen by doctor. Fingers crossed for fertilisation. Diane
