About to go in for scan after 1 week of Gonal F. I'm more nervous now than I have been. I just want my body to be responding well. I'm worried because I was late taking my injection last night but up until then have been doing really well.
Not experiencing any major dude effects on these compared to buserelin. The Gonal F is a breeze compared to that!
It doesn't help when you're tired either... If all goes well today I may have my egg collection next Friday....

Scan went well... 32 follicles in total with one of them already 16mm! Needless to say dosage of Gonal F reduced and egg collection now Wednesday. Feeling a bit achy on my left hand side as my left ovary had 20 follicles.
It's a little worrying now though as I feel I'm walking around with footballs where my ovaries should be! I've got another scan tomorrow AM and I have a feeling tonight will be the last of my stims! Clearly my body was ready for this and emotionally too.... Although it has been a long week at work and a busy weekend so I'm ready for a rest.
Got a couple of days off for egg collection and I plan on being very sedate and taking it easy
That's great news Hun that ur body is responding so well to ivf :)Hope it all goes well Let me no how u get on and I'm here if u ever wanna chat.Good luck with everything got my fingers crossed for u that u have a successful outcome. Jess X x x
Really struggling today. Very uncomfortable when walking but scan showed all ok. Still got 32 follicles and the majority are 16mm and up so looks good for Wednesday.
Feel a fragile mess though and thankfully have understanding boss...
Fingers crossed consultant will confirm no more stims, collection on Wednesday and to take done medication to prevent ohss.
Hi I had about 30 to 35 follicles in my IVF and we got 8 good blastocysts as are end results, we had one transferred that did not work and we froze the other 7 so all is looking good news for you. Good luck. x
Danielle this is what worries me... Everything goes to plan and you have plenty of embryos but they don't implant. I'm sorry it didn't work for you. Is there any advice you can give me for Wednesday and the days after? X
Hi don't worry about a thing to start with, the reason why I say this as when my cycle failed we had a follow up consultation and was told to think of it this way, if you conceive naturally then even in natural conception some of them don't implant and also the way they do it in IVF they have to choose one don't they, so I was told it just might not of been a strong one or that the embryologist may of thought It was the right one. I was told that despite what happened I still retain a very good chance of a successful pregnancy yet and was reassured, they told me it would be highly unlikely I would not be pregnant after 3 full IVF cycles with all the frozen aswell. Because I had a good response to treatment I am getting a extra free 4th cycle if I give half of my eggs for research on my 2nd cycle if the frozen don't work off my first cycle so there is plenty of chances ahead for you and its all about getting the right egg that's all. The only advice that I can give you is don't raise your hopes too high for your first time and do not test too early, test on the right day and not before. x
