So, 7 out of 8 eggs took which I’m really pleased about. Due to go in for embryo transfer on Saturday. But, I’m experiencing pretty bad bloating, which gets worse in the evenings. My stomach is huge and feels really tight. Should I be concerned? Is this normal? Everything I read about is conflicting. Hoping someone can shed some light xx

Bloating concerns
Hi lovely. I had ec on Monday too and still feeling pretty ropey. Still quite bloated and had to have a lie down this afternoon because I felt really tired and wobbly. I think my tummy is slightly better this evening so perhaps give your clinic a call in the morning if you're still really uncomfortable. In the meantime keep drinking lots of water and eating small regular meals. Really hope you feel better tomorrow x
Sorry, I thought I replied to this. Thank you for the advice... my stomach has settled down now which is good!
Hey hun yes what KW83 said. I can remember my last egg collection day 2 and 3 were actually worse than the day after collection I was actually getting worried about OHSS but by day 4 everything had settled down and i was feeling much better. But yes if your still really uncomfortable just let your clinic know. But it's completely normal to be bloated for awhile when I went in fro transfer they said my ovaries were still huge and almost touching! Drink plenty of water and keep on the paracetamol which is absolutely safe to take just no ibuprofen. Best of luck for transfer 🤞🤞🤞xxx
I had this! It’s soo uncomfortable isn’t it. I think (and double check this) your allowed a hot water bottle but if you wrap it in a towel or something so it isn’t too hot. Also as said before lots and lots of water.
I hope it goes for you.
If your too bloated and uncomfortable then they might decide to do a freeze all but see how you go.
Good luck x
