Bloating

My daughter is on day 6 of taking gonal f and is really bloated. Due to have a scan tomorrow. Has anyone else felt bloated xx

I did when I was stimming but I wasn’t on Gonal F. It’s an uncomfortable time xx

Hi Gillyc1. Seems as though she is reacting well to the Gonal F. Makes sure she is drinking plenty of water, just in case she should be over stimulating a bit. The scan tomorrow should reveal all. Hope it soon settles back down. Diane

They have cancelled her treatment because her oestrogen levels are low and only one good follicle growing. She is gutted. Now waiting for the finance manager to ring to tell us how much it is going to be to have another go in a higher dosage xx

Hi Gillyc1. Oh dear, I'm so sorry. it seemed as if she was responding with the bloating being a problem. I'm sure she is gutted, bless her! Hopefully the finance manager will be kind, seeing as she didn't complete the cycle. Thinking of you all. Diane

Not half. She has been on 300 gonal f so don't know how much higher it goes xx

We won't. As her husband has said it's a learning curve for them and the hospital. Just bank balances getting a bashing xx
