Sorry DHEA again

I have been on DHEA for 2 weeks and I'm slightly greasy faced and a few spots just waiting for my beard and baldy head to appear. My cycle has changed a bit ovulated on day 14 instead of 12 so hoping maybe stretching to 27 days. Im so hoping this is going to help and not hinder pregnancy.

I had the same on the dhea. You need to be on in a minimum of 3 months to have an effect and it took about 3 months after I finished it for everything to settle back down, but it may settle down quicker if u don’t have ivf between xx

I’m not having ivf just naturally ttc I keep miscarrying I’m 38 trying to make my eggs healthier. Did you see results after 3 mths? This is my first cycle after miscarrying in July and took me 5 mths last time after my 1st mc to conceive so 3 mths is ok hopefully it’ll work if not I’m not sure what to do back to the doctors again suppose.

Hi gcw104. It is a form of steroid so I suppose that's why you are getting these side effects. Hope it does the trick. Good luck! Diane

This post made me laugh. I see you are now pregnant , congratulations xx I was just wondering how is your skin now? I’m reluctant to try DHEA for this reason , did it settle down or keep getting worse? X

Ha yeah it settled down or I just got used to it and didn’t notice as much. I didn’t have any hair loss or growth thankfully. I’d definitely use it again if I needed too hopefully not tho.
