DHEA & Melatonin

Hi can anyone let me know where they have bought DHEA & melatonin from? I've googled & found a few sites but I'm always wary of a company I've not heard of so hoping I can get a recommendation if possible please x

Hi Hun, I was advised by my consultant to get my DHEA from biovea. Really recommend taking it for 3 months before your next cycle if you can xx

I use this company for Melatonin iherb.com?rcode=FBF337 they can post most products to the UK at a great price too, but can't post the DHEA, I use a great product from the US, will look it up for you, they could get the DHEA in, but maybe there are other UK companies, so you don't have border problems?

I'm using biovea too as my clinic mentioned them. If you google it, it'll come up on their website and another one,, both seem good

They post to the UK without any hassle, but its not micronised (absorption into the body), but that doesn't seemed to have affected anyone

Okay ladies I know what melatonin is for but googled DHEA and I'm confused why you would use it for IVF 😕.xx

Hi lucyloo DHEA is meant to be good for improving egg numbers & quality. It is normally used by women with low ovarian reserve, age related infertility or poor egg quality. It is not safe if you have pcos. Doctors are of mixed opinion too its effectiveness so some say not to bother. Many take 75mg a day but I'm going to take 25mg as I'm not sure if it's something I really need or not x

Hi Poochi, I also got some DHEA from biovea but have never used them and don't need to now as I was lucky enough to get a bfp without...the bottle is sealed, unopened and cost about £20 -would you like them (no cost)? That way you can try them before investing yourself! If so just PM me and I can put them in the post on Monday! Hope all's well with you xx

Hi poochi, which ones did u order? When I looked on the site yesterday they only seemed to have the 25mg in vegetarian? Don't know whether that makes a difference or not?

To be honest I've not got a clue about the different types. I all read when I googled it was that it's a controlled drug in the UK so I wasn't even sure if I could get it without a prescription... one I've ordered is probably not pure but as long as it's got some of the active ingredient I'm hoping it'll help xx
