Stupid question!!

Hi everyone

After my first round of icsi failed last month am scheduled to do a fet round in July.

The clinic has asked me to call them with my July period which is due 1st of July but my period have been known to come a day or 2 early so if I call them before July and explain it’s arrived early will they still accept that as my July period?

Yes it will be fine don’t worry they don’t actually start you on drug treatment for FET until day 21 of your cycle so ringing them on day 1 or thereabouts (doesn’t have to be exact just the policy they use) just gives plenty of time to get you scheduled in for scans etc and to collect the drugs - FET is a lot less demanding than a fresh IVF cycle and a lot less appointments

You have put my mind at ease 😀 yes I have been reading up on fet and it does sound a lot less stress on the body than the fresh cycle so looking forward to getting started.

Glad you asked this as I was thinking the same! I have to ring on my next af to arrange our frozen transfer!! Hopefully should be any day now fingers crossed xxx

Aww it’s always the same, spend months not wanting af to arrive and when you do want it to come they take ages 😂
