IUI schedule question

Hi all

Just wondering if anyone can tell me when I would need to start the medication if having a medicated IUI.

They told me to call on the first day of my proper period which I think will be tomorrow.

Because of the fantastic luck I seem to hold 😂the clinic are now closed 1st and 2nd (It takes us a while to recover after Hogmanay!). Is that too late to start this month if I call them on what will be day 3 of my period.

I did try to google but I’m still unclear as to what the timeline for IUI is. Anyone able to help?

Oh and happy new year to you all when it comes. I hope you all enjoy your glass of fizz ( alcoholic or non alcoholic) tonight xx

I always started northisterone on day 21 of my cycle so calling them on day 3 should be absolutely fine if it’s the same procedure. Have you already got your meds? Ours arrived in a day or two so plenty of time. Good luck! X

Thank you for the helpful answer. I’ll just keep my fingers crossed. They said they would arrange meds’ when I called them up so hopefully I do have time 🤞

Are you doing injections?

No, 5 days of tablets, then a trigger injection and another injection a week after the IUI x

Ah okay. That’s heaps different to mine. Which is daily injections until the trigger injection then pessaries start the day after insemination until OTD. I’ll be trying again about a week after you. Good luck x
