Mixed emotions...

Hi every one.

Had my first baseline scan this week, the nurse was pleased with how everything was looking, I could see my uterus and ovaries on the ultrasound. She said the lining of my uterus was nice and thin ready to begin my treatment to start thickening it up ready for embryo transfer!

I’ve started to take my medication now, I have to take 4 progynova tablets a day, so far I’ve felt quite nauseous, fuzzy head like I’m not totally with it and lots of headaches. The nurse advised I may experience this so I’m just going with it currently.

I’m excited, apprehensive, worried... it feels more real now that I’m taking these pills and things have progressed massively for us, but always a small part of me that thinks what if all of this and it doesn’t work in our favour.

It’s such a tough journey to go through and a lot of emotion to go through too.

I’m just hoping and praying that it will be successful the first time and we get our miracle baby 🤞❤️💕 xx
