FSH confusing

So my fsh blood test in Feb 2018 was 14 when it needed to be 12 and below to qualify for nhs funding. Obviously 12 also would be high for a day 2. But I was 5 days late on my period, could this have caused the increase in my fsh? I felt extremely hormonal at the time, my emotions were everywhere and very much like I was on a period but nothing physical. I started taking vitamin D and ubiquinol last month. However the day 2 blood test taken this month was 7.2 and now I have finally been referred for nhs funding following the various ups and downs of this journey. Bring on the next stage! I'm hoping the clinic don't take too long getting in contact, I now just want to get on with it all xx

Hi AnnieAnnie. Now that your FSH has come down to within normal limits again, it is the best time to get cracking. There is always the chance it could rise again, but fingers crossed it will stay stable for a while. All the best with the IVF once started. I do have a list of questions I could send you to look through before you go back if you want. My emails are confidential and you can get me at support@fertilitynetworkuk.org if you want me to send them. Good luck with it all, and I shall be thinking of you. Diane
