FSH results above limit for funding

Hi, I'm new to this page and first time trying, I'm 41 and currently going through criteria for IVF funding, my Fsh reading was 9.8 and the limit is 9. They have requested another blood test when start next period. Do the results vary day to day and can anything affect the reading? When I had it done 6months ago it was 5.3. Thx

It can fluctuate a fair bit yes! I'm waiting for my retest results too but not to get funding (mine was 22.5 so no chance it would move that much) just for my own peace of mind!! You probably have a good chance of a lower reading xx

If it's only slightly elevated vitex agnus castus might bring it down - mine went from 8ish to 6ish on 1000mg/day. It might take 2-3 months for full effect but as you're so close to the cut-off anyway it might do enough in a month. Good luck.

Thanks for comments, does it vary on diff days of ur period? They say to have bloods on day 1 or 2.
