I had a blood test for my day 3 of my period and my results are my FSH is 5.4 and my LH is 2.6. I am 30 years old and after my failed ivf cycles my period had becomed lighter and I was worried so my doctor agreed to do a blood test.
Is this ok? Diane if you could help that would be great! X
Prior to treatment if you had some contraceptives (pills) taken to regulate your AF it really would mess up your blood flow , something to do with the meds i guess...
Thanks hun, yes for the last 2 years I have had 4 fetility treatments so I'm guessing it has something to do with that x
I would suggest you do both AMH and Antral follicule count. It will give you correct picture. I have similar FSH and LH. My problem was I produced only 3 follicules which indicated low AMH or if you have already done still go again as it can change after few months
Hey Hun I had my amh checked last year and it was 8.4 which is low for my age. My first ivf cycle I produced only 3 eggs and my second cycle I had 13 eggs! Which was good after a change of medication. But I was scared I was going through early menopause so my doctor done a hormone test for me. But she said they came back normal. But I don't know what normal I'd anymore lol.
Thank you so much for replying and giving me hope that change in medication can do the trick. Don't worry you are to young to reach menopause. Stay positive. I have heard meditation can do magic not tired myself that is what I am going to try from next month. Half of our problems are our own made. Don't know about you but I am more of worrier than a warrior. We will have our piece of happiness sooner or later. Don't let it ruin our present ( I don't believe I am saying all this ) lol take care love
Hunny don't worry I always give advice and wish I could take my own at times!!! We have some embryos in the freezer, I am hoping to have a NK cells test completed in the next few months then I will start my frozen cycle. Still trying naturally and praying for a miracle!!! A change of medication really helped me so please have faith in this for you. This journey is so hard and your right when you say I'm a worrier than a warrior! But we will get there I hope one day xx
I've just had my FSH back too, 6.9, and AMH is 31. Don't know what my LH is? I'll be 37 in October. Starting ivf very soon. Hope these are good results x
Hey Hun my amh is 8.4 which is low for my age! I'm just confused with all these numbers lol. Iv had ivf twice now and it failed to implant. Hopefully I have more success with my next cycles x

Lower the better for fsh, higher is better for Amh. In my area, nhs fund ivf for people who have an fsh of below 8 so 5.4 sounds fine x
