Hi, I haven't posted before, I was just wondering if anyone can offer some advice or share experiences.
Me and my husband have been trying to conceive for 2- 3 years now. I have PCOS and endometriosis. I had a laparoscopy 18 months ago and a HyCoSy yesterday.
The outcome of the procedure was that my fallopian tubes are blocked and my left ovary is stuck to my uterus. I just wondered if anybody else has experienced similar? and what the options might be going forward?
Thanks.

Hey there! I'm really sorry to hear about your problem and hope you are having high spirit. I've read an expert's advice concerning your question somewhere on other forums, and it said that the most effective option in such case would be IVF. The next step would be surrogacy, provided that your fertilized eggs proved to be of good quality. I don't know how you feel about donor eggs, but I myself don't want to consider such an option...
Hi Amethyst 324. Well you've certainly got a bag of mixed tricks there! However, there is plenty that can be done to help you conceive. However, with both tubes blocked, you will most likely be put through for IVF. Perhaps your specialist may want to tidy up your endometriosis beforehand, I don't know, but your PCOS can be dealt with too, as your hormones will be manipulated to work with your treatment cycle. One concern would be the blocked tubes, for any excess lubrication that naturally occurs in the tubes might only be able to leak into your womb, and could prevent a developing embryo from implanting. For this reason they may need to be clipped or removed. Lots to talk about when you see your specialist, but hopefully a treatment plan will be offered you. Wishing you loads of luck! Diane
