Blocked tubes

Anyone know solutions for blocked tubes. Also, would like to know any success rate of it. I went through IVF and miscarried. I don't want to go through IVF again which I was told the only way I can get pregnant due to my endometriosis. I refuse to give up and still hopefull. Your comments and tips are greatly appreciated!

Tbh I think ivf is the only way. It took us 4 cycles with blocked tubes xx

I know but we don't have the means to pay for IVF again. I was hoping to try to do the holistic route and see if I can try to unlock both tubes naturally.

Ivf seems to be the way forward. I've got severe endo and my both tubes were deemed blocked and damaged. Went through 1 round of ivf, successful, 15month old boy is running around now. Got pregnant naturally 9 weeks ago. Looks like the tubes are working after all.... Lost the pregnancy though 😢 will be trying again soon.

Good luck to you and don't give up hope. Visanne is something they use in Europe to treat endo. Maybe you could look into that?

Thank you I tried ready about Visanned I guess it's not available here in the US. We don't have the means to pay for IVF again and was hoping to naturally unblock both tubes just don't know it that will ever happen. I tried to see if I can do laparoscopic surgery but the surgeon said to me not a good idea if I'm trying to still get pregnant. I feel defeated and sad for my husband.

Speak to IVF consultants and your endometriosis specialist. I had a round of IVF cancelled when they realised I had fluid caught in one of my tubes, this fluid is toxic and increases risks of miscarriage. I went back to BSGE consultant who quickly did a salpingectomy to remove this tube via a laparoscopy and three months later was able to restart the IVF and am currently 22 weeks pregnant! All the best but please get checked for this, I was in a far worse state inside than they expected, tubes had been deemed clear only months before the fluid was found and when I had the laparoscopy they took one tube away as it was twisted and stuck to the back of my womb by the endo and the other has a really slow flow so it's good to get this sorted to give IVF the best chance. Good luck! X

Thank you. I went through IVF and unfortunately it didnt work out and don't have the means to pay for it again. I was hoping to try to unblock my tubes naturally so I'm trying some things like castor oil, massages, tumeric, etc. Just not sure how effective it is. Congrats to you and excited for your pregnancy!

That's such a shame, I do believe that the fluid is the cause of infertility and miscarriage for so many women, as I said it literally is toxic. If you go down the route of getting this checked with a BSGE consultant they may clear the tube, them flushing through tubes with liquid as part of a HSV or a laparoscopy is supposed to improve chances, sounds like it could work for you. They certainly were very hopeful for me trying naturally between the laparoscopy and IVF if this was the case but unfortunately mine had gone too far and had three months of down reg instead 😫 endometriosis really is an awful disease - sending you lots and lots of love! Hi, I also have blocked tubes which was confirmed when they took a polyp away but I don’t know how long they have been blocked for as I conceived naturally 5 years ago but didn’t go full term unfortunately. I have now completed my 2nd round of ivf and 12 weeks pregnant . When I found out my tubes were blocked I tried all sorts of things like turmeric but nothing worked ivf was my only option , good luck xx

I had one blocked tube and one partially blocked tube from endometriosis and IVF seemed to be the best option. We had success with ivf after years of trying naturally, so it can happen :) x

Thank you. I kind of feel defeated. I went through IVF already and it didnt work out. We don't have the means to pay for it again. So I wanted to so if I can try unblocked my tubes naturally.

I think as Jess posted below, some people suggest serrapeptase and get good results, that was something I was looking into whilst waiting for my ivf as was on the waiting list for 18 months but didn’t take it in the end. Some people also mention that having an HSG can result in unblocking or partially unblocking tubes, I had that to determine what the issue was in the first place and found it extremely painful if I’m honest (they had to stop part way through) but many people say they just have minor discomfort with it x

I too had the HSG test that's one of the reason I found about both tubes are blocked. It was extremely painful for me too I thought I was going to pass out. I heard about HSG unlocking tubes but only way to see it if it works if I go through the pain test again.

I guess it was painful for both of us because our tubes were blocked so the dye can get through.

I know one lady on here used Serrapeptase & successfully unblocked her tubes and went onto have a successful pregnancy. She also had endo.

I have endo but after my last lap managed to have my daughter after a long journey.

You can have a successful pregnancy with endo.

I guess it depends on how bad the block is in some cases they can surgically unblock tubes others they might just suggest ivf but definitely seek advice from a specialist.

I wish you good luck xxx
