Looking for donor egg success stories after failed first attempt

Hi all, we had a failed DE cycle in June after having a top grade blastocyst transferred. We're about to have another go. The consultant didn't run any additional tests except taking a look inside with a saline solution ultrasound and I also had a dilation to help a smoother transfer next time. Has anyone else gone on to get a bfp after having one or more failed DE transfer? Would love to hear some success stories to help me get into a positive state of mind for our FET in Sept. Thank you ladies xxx

My first DE cycle failed with a top grade hatching blastocyst, I then had a FET with a slightly lower grade blast and got our BFP xx

Good luck 🍀🍀

Thank you everyone. This waiting for it to happen is almost as bad as the tww - I keep counting the days and they're still too many! I am super nervous it won't take again but will try to be positive. Nice day out with the OH today cycling around in the sun. Xxx

Thank you - you too xxx

I had a fresh transfer which luckily took first time but sadly lost him at 17w went on to have 2 x FET but sadly they never took and they were perfect.

Afraid to say it is hit and miss some say fresh others say FET.

This journey DE or OE is Russian roulette.

Wish you all the luck x

Thank you lovely, we got 5 blastos from our donor 3 down, 2 to go, I'm going to use one at a time. What about you? Xx

We got 10! We used one and it didn't work. I really worry there's something wrong with them because there's so many! Going to use one again this time but think about using two next time if not. Did you have any extra tests or anything to see whether any reason for not implanting? Our consultant said not to have any extra tests yet because the most likely reason was embryo problems and that the success rates are still only 50:50 or something with donor blasts. But if it doesn't work this time I wonder whether to have more tests. They did a saline ultrasound and it looked fine but no other tests. I wish you lots and lots of luck this time - I really hope this is the one for you xxxx

That's incredible!! Your little angel must be in there somewhere! Apparently it takes 3 donor transfers to get your success rates up in the 90%s so I'm thinking 3 times is good.

I've had many tests in the past so I know I have blood clotting issues and MTHFR where I don't absorb B vits

Or Folic Acid properly. I've also had a window implantation test to see if transferring on day 5 is right for me.

After my last attempt we had a chemical pregnancy so hey everyone said no more tests just go into the next transfer. This will be my 3rd donor transfer 🤞. Sending you back lots of luck Hun xx

I didn't know that. That's good!

I really hope it's third time lucky for you!!

I have trouble with b vits too or at least I had low vit b12 once. Do you take particular types of supplements? I'm only taking pregnacare but wonder if I should take something extra too.

Fingers crossed for us both xxx

So Sorry 😐 I also just had our first DE IVF cycle fail. We transferred 2 day 5 blast and beta came back at 4. So devasting but we will go for another cycle soon. Just waiting for AF to start. I wish you good luck. Hopefully you are already enjoying your pregnancy. Please give us some feed back.
