I was just looking for some of your wise thoughts and advice pretty please.
We have just had our final OE failed transfer despite throwing everything at it. It’s been a long road and I’ve done every test and taken every med out there so it’s now time to move on, as egg quality just isn’t there anymore despite there being a lot of them.
Anyway I’ve never had any hint of a positive test despite several years of trying and six rounds of IVF and transfers with tested embryos.
I was wondering if anyone has had success with donor eggs who had never had a positive previously. Just trying to work out if this is going to be the best way moving forward or if we’ll just be met with more of the same.
Thank you loads, wishing all your dreams to come true or at least get that bit closer to them anyway in 2023.♥️

Hi, I am currently 26 weeks pregnant from using DE from Cyprus. We only had 4 rounds with my OE as we already knew there was little chance of it working, so we made the decision to move to DE. I wanted my child to get the details of the donor so didn't originally entertain going abroad. We had 4 cycles of DE in the UK all of which didn't work and we didn't really get many embryos either.
At the point of facing a life without our own child we took the advice of a consultant and went to North Cyprus.
Our first time produced 6 embryos, the one I am pregnant with now and 5 in the freezer. The clinic was amazing.
I think I will have more emotional stability about using DE which are anonymous for the future given I went through all these stages, but I do wonder if I had just gone abroad first time, as we knew the chances of OE and DE in the UK the chances are much smaller than abroad, I could have saved time, money and trauma maybe by going there first, but you have to find your right path and for us it was the long winded one, we were just lucky we could afford it.
If you want any more info or have any questions feel free to message.
Congratulations on being on the journey to being a parent! We are just about to embark on DE after five rounds of OE IVF and I am really nervous it won't work. What have they done differently at your clinic do you think that has resulted in success?
Thank you so much for your reply and sounds like quite a journey! Super glad all is working out though, the biggest congratulations! I might DM you if that’s ok Xx
I am currently 18 weeks pregnant with DE, I did my treatment in Nicosia ( North Cyprus). I had only one cycle in UK and failed on egg collection in September 2021. Consulted couple of clinic in UK , all advised me to opt for DE due to my AHH level being 1.9 at 37 years, too low ovarian reserve. The UK clinics also advised us if we want to try few more cycles but taking into my finance, so me and my husband decided to proceed with DE in UK but the waiting time was 1.5- 2 years due to our asian ethnicity. So we made some research- consulted online clinics in India, Dubai and Turkey. We opt for Nicosia. We got 5 eggs on Day5, had 2 embryos transferred (currently pregnant with twins) and froze 3. My clinic was very helpful as well. Good luck with your treatment
Yes I went to North Cyprus last year in April the clinic gave me a package of tandem while doing my stim they would do DE at the same time is my did not work they used backup DE the scan down in the UK showed 2 eggs developing but when I got here another scan was done it stopped developing and the doctor said that they are going to use DE it was shocked, they said I should take my time to think after some time I ask them to go ahead. But it was unsuccessful it was hard for me, after testing 6 embryos we had 3 good boys finally. Last month we went back again this time my medication changed its dosage and add new two that will help immune and implantation. They got 13 embryos, one did not develop more left 12 to perform biopsy then 6 were good, 2 boys and 4 girls as they do gender selection. The doctor said he is going to put the 2 boys and 2 girls to increase my chances, 1st was the day to do a blood test but it was Sunday I use urine it came back positive second day tested again positive today 3rd it came positive. I informed the clinic they were happy and said I should go and see my GP while they arrange my medication to take for 12 weeks, so go for it. mostly all the staff is kind and lovely not talking about doctor who put extra everything to make it work I can't thank them enough. So go for it and wishing you good luck.
hi, congratulations. Would you be able to share which clinic you used. Your story is similar to mine and would be interested in finding out what medication they put you on. The clinic I am with do not believe in immune treatment
Me 👋 We tried for years with own eggs, round after round. We never got more than between 3-7 mature eggs each time and not many fertilised so never had any to freeze. We never had a positive pregnancy test. Since trying donor eggs we got pregnant on both transfers but I miscarried both times. I think it’s low progesterone so next time I’m on pessaries and intramuscular injections from day 1 Of the cycle. Good luck 😊
Thank you so much for to reply, so sorry to hear about your miscarriages, just when you think you are winning this process always seems to bring you back down. Sending you all the positive vibes for your next go and that the extra progesterone does the trick! Xx
Yes we did. They’ve been great. I think success rate with their donor programme is approx 54%. Their donors are UK. It is worth comparing clinics as not all are as high. My issue seems to be I’m not absorbing progesterone so need a lot more than the average person. Also We’ve just done a sperm test that checks dna fragmentation which came back all okay so fingers crossed for our next round. 🤞
Hi we went to North Cyprus..they were fantastic. Worked 1st time. As they have 80% success rate. I have twins boy and girl. Aftee 7 years of infertility. I did ivf 4 times. And actually fell pregnant naturally which ended in miscarriage. I knew in my heart it was time to move on to D.e I'm very grateful I did. As no doubt in my mind I would of been childless. Would never fulfilled my dream of being a mother. I did have worries how I would feel my goodness they litteraly may my heart burst with the love I have for them. They feel completely my children..and they are. Reading about Epergentics really helped my Decision too. Please pm me with any questions. I'm happy to help 😊
