I have been waiting for af to appear so I can start my ivf today was the day so called my clonic to be told I now can't start this cycle cause of the Christmas period incase I need an extra week injections we are so gutted as I been waiting for this so long they never mentioned this when I told them when I would be calling around now x

So sorry to hear this hun. Try and stay positive though. Enjoy Christmas and start getting prepared for what the new year will bring. At least now you won't have the worry of injections and waits etc and you can just enjoy the festive period? Gives you plenty of time to get your body ready for IVF as well such as multi-vitamins etc and your fellas xxx

Yeah true I need to think if the positives my ibs is bad at the moment so gives me chance to get it under control x

Exactly. Everything happens for a reason (that's what I keep telling myself anyway). You wouldn't want to go through IVF as well as bad IBS, it's draining enough with one of those let alone both together xxx

Hi Shell 1402 I am in the same boat, I called yesterday and they said the same. I have to call on my next cycle again but I doubt anything will happen now till Jan. As you say the waiting for everything is so difficult, it totally consumes you. Hopefully a lovely chilled festive break will get you ready for a good start to treatment. Wishing you lots of luck xx

What clinic you at I am.at nurture in Nottingham I asked them as my next cycle is stil before Christmas they said it's fine cause I will be down regarding during the shut down so wont need any appointments x

I am at Glasgow Royal. Thats good news you will be down regulating and you are not at a complete standstill xx
