Hi Lorry

Do you have someone there that can help you? This disease is complicated and messes with how you think sometimes. You may be dealing with high ammonia levels which cause confusion and a helping hand is important.

We have a lot of information on our website which may be of some value to you.

By letter? That's appalling!

You obviously need to speak to someone to have the actual findings explained.

If you can't get an appointment in clinic I would ask for a telephone appointment to put your mind at rest. Stress is a trigger.

Hope you get answers very quickly

Rita

Eat healthy as possible, no sweets unless it's naturally sweetened. Exercise try to walk at least 30 minutes a day😊

Ok first of all relax transplants are very safe now and if there is extensive damage you may need one. To help eat a Mediterranean diet and drink a lot of coffee it has some sort oif benefit that helps slow scarring. Likely you are in ESLD just like me but you can go for years in such condition. Do not buy any5thing that says it can cure liver scarring they are lying to you. If you have a specialist appointment keep it. But if you get to spitting or throwing up blood there is a problem 911 fast. In other words unless there is a change in your condition then go to your appointment and if there is a new sign go to the ER. I will pray for you and I assure you are going to be fine.

I also have Cirrhosis and scarring. Mine started with hepatitis c. Which can live in your body for decades. It does get better with diet change and exercise. I also had double pneumonia that was septic. Exercising was out of the question for a while. After two to three years I’m starting to feel better. I’m not saying it will take the same amount of time. Three doctors told me the liver can regenerate. Hang in there. You can beat this!!
