Hi, interested in finding out how many of you are taking HRT or Estrogen only treatment after hysterectomy for endo? I've just been prescribed evorel 50 after having my last ovary removed but am worried about taking Estrogen only and the endo coming back. Is anyone else taking HRT, please let me know. Thanks x

Hi... I've been taken this for 3 yrs... Have had two ops since hysterectomy for adhesions..consultant found a tiny nodule on my bowel wall.. On its op second op a yr later to remove appendix no endo found.

Everyone reacts different to hrt..but I personally think as I was 42.. 10 yrs before I should have had menopause for the Benefit on my over all health I would take it.... Never had any problems and I see my docs every 6 months for a check up...

I was adament I wasn't going to take it... But I just felt to poorly and a mess without hrt... Xx

Hi and thanks for the reply, really appreciate it. I assume your specialist didn't mention progesterone neither? I suppose it's reassuring to know they found no endo on your second op, it's just confusing when a lot of the Internet sites and even the instructions say to not take unopposed Estrogen if you have had endo

I'm 44 by the way and only had my remaining ovary out last week So am not sure how long it will be before I have any symptoms- how long before you had your first symptoms? Thanks xx
