I had my last Prostap 3 (3 months ones) on 10th December 2024 before my surgery for Adenomyosis and Endometriosis in January 2025. I am still haven’t get period yet but recently I am feeling nauseous, sensitive to smells/ like pregnancy symptoms. Is it normal please? How long after stopping Prostap did you symptoms/periods come back? I am taking lots of vitamins and Tibolone, please share your experience and advice, I am feeling scared, worried and anxious. We been trying to pregnant for 8 years and had miscarriage. Thank you

hi Aamull,

I had my last prostrap (also 3 monthly) in September and have had one period since and excision endo inc bowel surgery both in January.

If you go on the Endometriosis uk website you can book a call with an endo nurse who might be better placed to give you advice about what’s normal if you don’t have access to a nurse through your hospital.

I was told it may take 6-12 months for my cycle to normalise after prostrap, and that it would be at least four cycles post op until I would feel the benefit of symptoms for my endo.

I can relate to the fear of when things will be normal again. Please be kind to yourself.
