doubling progesterone only pill for endo treatment

hi all! I’ve recently been diagnosed with early stage endometriosis and before looking at doing a laparoscopy, my specialist has recommended doubling my dosage of progesterone only contraceptive pill.

I’m looking for advice if anyone else has tried this and what your experience has been, thank you in advance ❤️

This depends on how you tolerate progestin. Many women cannot tolerate it but can tolerate progesterone. They are very different. I'd watch your mood closely. Which progestin is it?

Hi yes i use the same pill, it has really worked for me with the double dose.

So if you are already on it and doing OK then this could work. I presume you're quite young?? Just keep an eye on your mood as progestins can make some women depressed x
