I had my injection for Prostap three weeks ago, I’ve noticed my skin in general is a bit drier than usual and a bit itchy (I have very sensitive skin anyway) - does anyone know when the injection tends to start wearing off? Or if there’s a way to reverse it? I’m not planning on getting my second injection in all honesty as it’s caused my mental health to decline rapidly. I’m currently not on Hrt due to migraines.

Hi, I am also on prostap but by no means an expert. This sounds like it is caused by the lack of hrt to me. Menopause can cause dry skin, itches and mental health issues. Maybe have a chat with your gp about whether there may be hrt options that won't impact your migraines?
Sorry it sounds like you’re having a crap time. I didn’t get on with Prostrap either. I had the 3 monthly injections but found they ran out around 10 weeks, I don’t think they last as long as they are supposed too for many people but the side effects can take a while to stop. I would echo other advise to see GP or prescribing team to discuss add back HRT, or other management options if you’re not planning on continuing the injections.
Yes I’m on 3 monthly injections, I feel hideous in them. My flare up from my endo has calmed down slightly due to them but other side effects are just not making this worth it for me right now
