Anyone taking estrogen and dienogest?

Hi ladies. Begging some life experience…

I’ve been on dienogest 6 months now, during this period my perimenopause symptoms have, well, let’s just say, escalated! Possibly nothing to do with the medication I hasten to add, they were coming on well before that. My gynae has suggested I start taking a low dose of estrogen to see if that helps, especially with the sleep deprivation. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience of this combination, and - if willing to share - what type and dose of estrogen? I have to go back to my GP to discuss going forward and I suspect they will be very uniformed!

🙏
